INSPECTIONS OF CONTAINERS

The following types of inspections are carried out by the employees of “SKS-M Surveyors LLC”:

photographing the container, locking devices and seals before opening;

checking the integrity of locking devices and seals;

photographing the installation of the cargo after opening the container;

measuring the temperature of cargo;

control of the inspection process;

photographing the process of taking cargo samples;

container sealing;

photographing of seals and sealing schemes.

When unloading containers during customs inspections, the following additional operations are carried out:

 tallyman’s count of the cargo;
 cargo damage control (packaging);
 weighing of cargo;
 checking the conformity of the goods to the labels inside the packages;
 prompt client information during the container inspection regarding any violations leading to cargo damage;

 photo and video control of container unloading;
 adoption of preventive measures;

 photographing the stacking of cargo after unloading;
 control of damage to the container reinforcement when it is returned to the terminal;
 re-sealing (control of seals, locking mechanism) of the container when it “exits” the terminal.
